Arrival and Check-In
Arrive in Oakville around 3:30 pm so you can check into the hotel, unload your vehicle, and meet your friends.
Gathering Registration Area
The registration desk is open from 3:30-5:00 pm. At this time, you will receive your name tag and Gathering booklet with table seating assignment for Saturday and Sunday meals. Don’t forget to bring your name tag holder. Newcomers will receive a name tag holder. Bring your Exchange Gift, Gathering Helper, Swap items, Auction donation, and/or display items to hand in at the registration area. Keep your Table Gifts in your room until dinner on Saturday night.
If you have any extra, clean name tag holders that you wish to donate, you may bring them to the registration area also.
Anyone arriving after 5:00 pm may pick up their registration package after dinner.
Trading Post
If you are participating in the sales room, you can set up your sales table any time between 3:30 and 5:00 pm. The Trading Post will be open Saturday evening.
Table Seating
You have the option to sit at a 1:12 or a 1:48 scale table. Your Gathering Booklet will show the table seating assignment based on the scale you chose. If you wish to sit with friends at mealtime, contact Patti Thorne. Bear in mind that 1:12 and 1:48 tables are not mixed. But feel free to sit anywhere at supper on Friday and for breakfast each morning.
Centrepieces
One of the exciting things about a Gathering is the centrepieces. There will be a draw at Sunday’s lunch to win the Wild West centrepiece at your table.

Saturday Night Banquet
Mosey on up to the bar! Show off your best cowboy/girl outfit. Or dress up as an outlaw, sheriff, bartender, card shark, show girl, lady of the evening, miner, or a drunk who might end up in the local jail. The choice is yours.
Volunteers and Donors
The Ontario Miniatures Gathering would not run without donors (providing Gathering Helpers or Silent Auction items) or volunteers who handle small but important tasks. You may act as a Table Hostess or assist with Mini Swaps, the Display Room, the Silent Auction, or any surprise job. It’s a great way to get involved and meet more people. Tick Volunteers on your Registration form if you wish to volunteer.
